VLJ at EIKN

Saw what looked like a Embraer Phenom 100 on apron B at Ireland West on Tuesday. Unusual visitor, haven't seen any VLJs in Ireland yet, didn't get the reg but any info where it's from? Also several army vehicles were around the perimeter fence, guessing that could just be training exercise.

Re: Galway 'Event'.

Seems very reasonable, a cynic would suggest they were trying to win back GA in light of plummeting commercial traffic...

http://flightradar24.com/ also good, though some charters don't always show up.

http://casper.frontier.nl/eidw/ looks very good, you can replay the days airtraffic and if you subscribe you get live data from any area with a SBS-1 ADS-B reciever.

The whole A380 thing is a red herring to get publicity. It's rare to see anything larger than an A330 in DUB or SNN these days and there are only a handful of routes into Europe planning to operate the A380. DUB have mostly failed to attract any carriers on any Asian routes with big incentive offers...

Unfortunately their CEO was the man killed in the light aircraft crash at Knock a couple of months ago, so I'd imagine the operation is under review, EIKN still NOTAM no Avgas as Shoreline were to operate all the the GA services from Apron B. I hope they do go ahead with the plans though, be good to...

Very sad news, my sympathy to all involved.
Wonder if it was a Weston based aircraft?

It looks like one of those "oh my cousins nephews sister is a graphic designer" jobs, the web design company quoted looks even worse. Lot of people think they can sell web design with a few downloaded templates, might be cheap but in the long run it will not add much value to your company ...

Looks like Shoreline Aviation will take over all the GA handling, this must be the reason for the lack of Avgas for the last year. Not much info on their site yet other than that they will provide maintenance and hangarage. Kind of a shame the Cargo apron is so far from the main terminal, would be n...
