I would say the reason they feature often in flying incidents is because they do rather a lot of fleet hours

Re: Cessna Rigging Expert/Split Costs Visit

Play nicely boys Willy, should not anyone with a maint. Manual with the rigging page open, be able to produce the results you describe. I am not entering the maint facility debate as I am a diy permit man, however I believe either an aircraft is correctly rigged or it is not! Do the cessna pilots As...

Re: Michael O'Leary suggests removing co-pilots to save money

"Spare a thought for Michael O’Leary, Chief Executive of 'Ryanair'....... Arriving in a hotel in Dublin, he went to the bar and asked for a pint of draught Guinness. The barman nodded and said, "That will be one Euro please, Mr. O’Leary." Somewhat taken aback, O'Leary replied, "That's very cheap," a...

Re: AAIU - Proposed Legislation - Air Sports

Would you not welcome their imput, David? Prehaps it was remiss of them to have excluded minority airsports such as yourself until now, a fact that they are now attempting to legislate for. I find it interesting that the other Larger Parachuting centres have remained silent on this, Prehaps they alr...

Re: Bendix or Slick?

From Aviation consumer magazine
"Both the Bendix 1200 series, top, and Slick 4300/6300 mags look alike outwardly. But the Slicks have significant design and construction advantages for field repair."

Re: Night Flight around Boyle

Big Jim
It was not myself but a friend who did their night rateing that night, although on reading the posts it seems the airspace over boyle was very busy. How do we check what flightplans were filed at that time and location?

Re: Night Flight around Boyle

The first step would be to recertify the 737-800 as single crew..do you really think that will ever happen- this is just more of Mr O Leary grabbing a few headlines
