Hi Mark
With regards to how long it takes between applying and taking the test, it varies on examiner ability but generally you won't take more than 2 or 3 weeks....unfortunately you have to wait to receive your licence to exercise the priveleges of a ppl.

Hi Batman, comparitively speaking it's pricey for an app but given that its a very specialist app (Irish pilots, maybe a handful visitors) there's a limited market for EI-KEV. The price has to reflect his development costs....if had a market of hundreds of thousands I'm sure it would have a lower p...

Rang the iaa today ...to convert over to microlights is just a case of 5 hrs training and a flight test which leaves you with a microlight rating on your current ppl Donal and nosedive ye were both right! That just leaves the question is it worth doing...ie what type of machine to buy at what cost a...
