Go into the nearest pub and ask if there is any digs locally. its a start till you find something better . you will probably be in with construction workers. It'll be cheaper than B&B or hotel. That is unless you are tooooooo posh :roll:

what's the heads up on using castor oil as an engine lubricant. I believe it was all the rage with the early biplanes 1920/1940's. Guess the fumes were effective in more ways than is polite to mention

We are getting just a little ahead of ourselves just a tad. Whatever plane/s we get will be fitted with mufflers . as mentioned previously by ow wright the deisel option is the best one as the fuel is cheaper it goes a lot further and emits about one third less pollution. Sunday mornings the modellers are up , Runway is perfect . But sorry to say its going to become Legoland unless enough people lobby for a flying club. Take a wander round there and see if you can get talking to the commandant . The Garda chopper uses it quite a bit but no fixwing there for years now...
