It was an EC725 Caracal (Super Cougar) of the French Air Force - I presume on a training detail.
It departed to Glasgow this morning.

the US Navy C130 at Baldonnel is 165379 (code RU).
The one you saw depart earlier is probably a USAFE one - based at Ramstein - judging by the 'Herky' call sign.
