Can they not get another ATC guy in like Knock have done in the past? Or just operate without ATC like Abbeyshrule and many other airfields do around the world??

I've heard on the grapevine that as of January 2014 Night VFR is permitted outside Controlled Airpsace. Has anyone heard the same? I tried having a quick browse of SERA but can't find it. If anyone could clarify this for me I'd greatly appreciate it.

Yes I am aware of that. I'm looking at doing the IR in Poland or Spain. Did you do CAA or IAA ATPL's? Will you end up with a Swedish Commercial Licence? I worked out the course to be €23k which excludes aircraft rental for test and the associated fees for that too. Did you consider anywhere else? Ho...
