Hi All

I was leafing through Kevin Glynns VFR Guide (good publication) and I see alot of instructions to standard join. I am right in thinking that this is:

Desend on the dead side to circuit height, cross the runway mid point to join down wind?

I did much better today on the diversions, I stuck a compass rose on my chart and drew the big red line on that I then becomes obvious which what to turn rather than visualising it in my head

correction for wind

Hi All

I am always mixing up the wind correction on a diversion ie. I use 5 kts of cross wind blows 3 deg off track where it goes pear shaped is I mix up if I should add or subtract the correction

Anyone got good tips?

How come a 96Hr MSLP valid 12UTC Monday and a 108Hr MSLP valid 12UTC Monday are 2 very different cahrts are should they not be the same?

On the isobar and front chart, what does the :

Forecast (T+24) valid at 12 UTC, actually mean

Will the weather be valid for 24 hours after 12 utc?
