Re: B.Sc. in Aviation Mgt with Pilot Studies
Any current students on the propgramme care to share links to any of the lecturers bio pages? I'm interested in learning more about the backgrounds of those providing the lectures, i.e. academic achievements, prior lecturing experience, published research articles, any experience from the commercial...

Transitioning to biomass fuels in general aviation
http://www.brdisolutions.com/pdfs/bcota/abstracts/26/z313.pdf Engine endurance tests showed considerably less wear on ethanol than on avgas. Consequently, it is estimated that the Time Between Overhaul (TBO) in an engine on ethanol could easily be extended by 100% over avgas. This would represent a...

Re: PPL Hourly Costs
Hmmmm, M747  Does anyone know whether or not any research or a type of audit of these costs across the GA community in Ireland? Here is my thinking on the cost issue: Tap into contact of any GA pilots who are working in the accounting/audit world - thinking big 4 here? Discuss the merits or ot...

Re: PPL Hourly Costs
Can anyone give me a rational explaination why the rate per hour for flying lessons in general have not reduced given the current climate? I looks to me like possible 'rigging' of prices - if proven, it's illegal activity.

Folks,
I'm sure this was unintentional but I posted to the NAVSRAv thread recently on this site seeking some sort of basic information regarding what is going on within NAVSRAv. I would have imagined it was a straightforward question to ask but I'm puzzled at the reply I received.

It makes perfect sense to 'share' and 'involve' the wider community. You don't have to share word for word, who said what...
