The air corps can do this in theory as both the EC-135 and AW-139's have internal "kits" to convert them to an air ambulance, But this takes time as the heli needs to be stripped completely from the inside. By the time that is done a medivac is (in most cases) no longer needed :wink:

Can anyone provide the numbers of the 2 blackhawks that where at Shannon since the 10th after they rescued an sailor?

They came in as Rescue 109 and Rescue 212.

Just saw a C-130 (US) pass over onroute to Shannon (13:03) can any one supply me with the serial number???

Also a what looked like a C-9 (12:29).
