Re: CPL/MEIR Pilot looking for work!

Hi Lustrum, thank you for the reply.

I'm inclined to agree with you about "forking" out for the rating with no job offer. It's just another one of these gambles I suppose. I think it probably is the same both sides of the Irish Sea.

Congrats with the sim work at least :D

Re: CPL/MEIR Pilot looking for work!

Hello, I came across this post and I found it quite interesting as I'm relatively in the same position. Realistically what are the chances of finding any kind of instructing work in Ireland? Is there a big supply of instructors at present and very little chance of any kind of work (part-time, anythi...

Thank you for the reply Vanman, really appreciate it. I went into NFC in May, I have 46hrs and my ppl and was told that if you have less than 100hours you would have to do 20hrs with an instructor or if you had more than 100hrs it would be reduced to 10hrs. I does seem a bit steep alright. I'...

I'm still not quite sure what the requirements are with regards asthma and a IAA medical but I'm very content. I think you will get sent to a consultant regardless with your asthma ...
