Re: Whats this then?

C'mon Gerry, tell us the whole story, all about their arrival in Waterford, the commotion in the zone, licences, registration letters, and how the IAA and everybody at Waterford went to so much trouble to sort it all out.
I'd hate to have been in the same boat in France.
Do tell please!

Re: Waterfords tecnam

If anybody finds an undercarriage bolt between Waterford and Inismaan you can post it to Waterford!
On second thoughts maybe they don't want either back.

Some years ago my bank insisted I had life insurance to cover borrowings so I went shopping, My bank AIB were happy to load my policy by 100% because I flew small aeroplanes. Friends First however were happy to load my policy by 10% for the same cover. Guess who I picked? The funny thing was I was l...

"And so for the want of a horseshoe nail the war was lost."

I see the report is out today and it makes sobering reading.

Well said Petronella. The best thing that could happen would be for the entire Kilkenny Flying Club to be cleared and never left back into the place. The glider winch affair was disgraceful not to mention the treatment of the CFI and was so typical of all that went on there. I for one wish Nicky all...

It will be great to see the old guard swept away, 40 years of ineptitude and petty politics finally at an end. The best thing that could happen now is that the old flying club were kept out of the place altogether. The appearance of the place after last Sunday left me thinking it had been vandalised...

I had an email yesterday from Knock saying that Avgas is now available and
I've just noticed that the "no Avgas" NOTAM seems to have been removed.
So let's hope things are looking up at last.
