Willo

Put your pics onto a site like flickr or image shack and then put the url:: into you post.

First press the IMG button, then insert the URL and then press the IMG button again

If you know how to crop a photo it can increase the challenge. I said at the start of this no cockpit photos please but how about I renege on that and someone post a cockpit photo provided the aircraft is over 25 years old or is replica of 25 years old or more AND is connected to Ireland. Not necessarily the next photo but if you win you could include cockpit photos.

Might it free up the availability of photos related to classic irish aviation???
It only takes two things to fly:--- airspeed and money.

Hi there
The Gyro is a Bensen B8, time about late 80s or early 90s( I don't know what became of the Pitts). Fairyhouse?

Is there anything you DONT know about Irish aviation, Xacto??.
I thought this one would run and run. You weren't there yourself, by any chance.
And ofcourse you are correct. It was the first fly-in organised by the (now defuct)
Donegal Aero Club at Carrickfin's grass strip, now Donegal Airport,
on 11th July 1982.
An unbelieveable 10,000 people turned up on what was a lovely sunny,
but very windy day.
Arthur Wignell died at Sligo airport on 1st Apr 1984 when the Pitts crashed
and was destroyed.

Hugo.
