Air Ambulance at Enniskillen?

Post by Bladecrack » Sun Sep 10, 2006 7:50 pm

HI all,

Anybody got any more info on the proposed A109S to be used in air ambulance role based at Enniskillen, such as who will operate it? Heard the story from a couple of other pilots last week, apparently there was a TV report on the expansion and development a EGAB on local TV.

Regards,
BC.

Hi Bladecrack

Yes, there was a report on BBC Ulster last week about St Angelo, They were announcing the arrival of Sloane Helicopters to Enniskillen. Nothing specific was mentioned about the air ambulance idea or who would be paying for it, just informing the viewer of the idea of the air ambulance.

Was a very short report.

Sloane will be operating the HEMS service + a Agusta/Bell service facility + a sales office from Enniskillen.
