When do you think we will see an increase in the age limit for pilots in the Aer Corps. I know the Australian Army has increased the entry age to 40+.

I'm sure there are plenty of relatively experienced chopper pilots out there. Surely it would save on training costs.

The upper age limit was raised last year to 27 years of age to candidates who are members of the Permanent Defence Force or, have a degree.

Okay, you know, that is a really low age limit. I guess this is such a small country that it doesn't matter so much though.

 Don't suppose the Irish Air Corps is interested in forming a civilian volunteer auxilliary. Just imagine the millions of bucks worth of aircraft that would become available ,.Also the very excellent pilots that would come on stream. Just give us Gormanstown and Finner . How about it Gentlemen. :) EI rules OK.DEL
