are the likes of Zephyr 2000 and Samba XXL, which MTOM exceeds 450KGs good enough for the purpose? Most people would still consider them microlights, but according to IAA their MTOM have to be below 450kg for a two seater and stall speed below 35kt in a landing config to be considered microlights. your choice of SEP aircraft

Hi all,

I know this question might seem a bit annoying, but please bear with me. If you would buy a plane tomorrow for a reasonable budget (let°s say 30-40k), what would it be? Catch - hours spent on that plane has to go towards your PPL(A) hour building, so are microlights out of the question?

how much do you want for them? I kind of started with Trevor Thom series and I've placed a bid on some of those, but if that doesn't go well, I might as well grab these if the price is right.

Also can you check when your copy of Aviation Law was published?
