I know it is at taboo, especially when there are lives lost. No one wants to talk about it. But it happens every year WHY??? I'm a pilot myself, and aircraft accident is my special interest, ironically. Why do we run out of fuel. I'm not being funny or smart here - I honestly ask for your opinion??...

What does it take to get IAA and the Airport Operators to see a bit of touristic sense, to follow the FAA pattern of allowing closed airports to operate as at-your-own risk class G unattended facilities, that is to be used at pilots own risk?
