just reported on RTE news, Two uninjured after small plane makes emergency landing in Wicklow.

two people onboard, the plane was destroyed.

no further details.

We had a great flight into Shannon today, not often we can say this but A very very very friendly bunch of folks from ATC through handling, and security. Not a bad word to be said, and no rip off charges, plus it's great landing on such a long runway as 06. Highly recommend a visit if you can get in...

US Army Chinooks started arriving at Dublin Airport (Wednesday) off-loading ground equipment for the Obama visit next week, they are based in Scotland.

Even the Britten-Norman BN-2T-4S Defender 4000, 254 from the Irish Air Corps is doing circuits over the quays all evening along with 256, the Eurocopter EC135 :)
